Missouri is the home to nearly 30 high school field hockey teams (categorized as a MSHSAA Emerging sport due to the number below the state threshold), five club teams and three collegiate teams. While mostly based in St. Louis, Kansas City has been a historic outpost for the sport as well. Field hockey in Missouri goes back to the 1920s and features a visit from Constance Applebee herself in 1966.
The goal of the Missouri State Chapter is to continue to grow and support the vibrant field hockey community in our state.
